What is Nopal?
Nopal is a cultural and political education project for Chicana/o/x and Latina/o/x youth in Stockton, CA. We provide space and programming to convivir (be in community), foster solidarity, and organize. We value activism/activismo, educacion/education, comunidad/community, and cultura/culture.
Nopal Vision:
Nopal believes in the power of Chicana/o/x and Latina/o/x communities in Stockton to change unjust systems through art, culture, education, and activism.
