When we started Nopal, we had a vision to open up a coffeeshop and community space where people could be surrounded by arte and books, organize around local issues, and be creative, all while having a cafecito. Sharing a 'cafecito' is more than a tradition; it's how we strengthen bonds, uplift each other, and reinforce our collective identity.

We wanted to share this vision with Stockton, and establish roots on the east side, a community that has faced neglect and disinvestment. Our goal is to provide a sanctuary dedicated to coffee and community. This is why we are opening Raíz Café y Cultura.
